Around this great country of ours, thousands of lucky people will be recipients of a Singing Valentine from a loved one, including many here in the San Antonio area who have ordered a Singing Valentine from The Marcsmen to serenade their sweetheart. The Marcsmen would like to thank all of our family, friends and fans who helped to make our Marcsmen Christmas Shows a success. We put on two shows on Saturday, December 19th, and had a fantastic time sharing the Christmas spirit.
We’re busy making plans for 2016, with an all-new Mother’s Day show and another big Christmas show. We hope to see you all at both shows!
Fellow BHS chorus (and 2015 International competitor), the Westminster Chorus, recently put out a fun video on YouTube, after someone commented to them that their choreography looked like dancing hair. The 44-second video received quite a few views, and gained the attention of a shampoo company in Japan, who worked with the chorus to make a 30-second commercial that is showing on Japanese TV.
Even more fun, they’ve posted another clip of the raw footage of the chorus, as well as what appears to be some instruction from the director or one of the actors (sorry, my Japanese is a bit rusty) on how to perform the choreography.
