Our friends at the Alamo Metro Chorus are pleased to announce their upcoming show, “Music Con – The Power of Music” on Saturday, November 5th at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in San Antonio. There will be two shows: a matinee at 3:00 pm and an evening show at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $20 for general admission and $15 for seniors and students.

The Marcsmen are pleased to announce that we are partnering with The Playhouse of San Antonio to present All Is Calm, The Christmas Eve Truce of 1914. This show will run from December 2-19 at the Playhouse.

We’ve posted a new video that answers a question that we commonly hear from our audiences: How did the Marcsmen get their name and what’s with the unique spelling?
Most people don’t know that there’s actually a geographical connection to the spelling of the name, The Marcsmen. The image shown here is from the 2008 Barbershop Harmony Society’s inaugural Youth Chorus competition, which the Marcsmen won. The group was formed for that competition, but they had so much fun that they wanted to continue as a full-fledged chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
